President Joe Biden was in California campaigning to raise funds, an American security guard was robbed at gunpoint and his bag was taken.

On June 18, AP reported that a US secret agent was attacked in a residential area in Tustin, California on the evening of June 15. According to Anthony Guglielmi, spokesman for the Secret Service, the incident happened while the agent was on his way home after completing his mission.

Police said the US Secret Service officer was not injured but his bag was robbed. When arriving at the scene, police found some stolen items nearby. The robbery caused the secret service officer to use his service gun to respond. It is currently unknown whether the suspect was hit by the bullet or not.

The Tustin Police Department said the suspect has not been found. Area police informed that a silver Infinity car, model year 2004-2005, left the scene of the robbery. They asked the public to help find the suspect. Officials stated that they are investigating the incident and there is no threat to the public.

The incident happened while President Joe Biden arrived in California. President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama held a fundraising event with the participation of many celebrities in Los Angeles. The fundraiser raised more than $30 million for President Biden’s re -election campaign.
