WASHINGTON – Well it seems when it comes to the truth and President Trump, the Democrats and the Liberal News media have stooped to an all time low.

After President Trump made a speech in Long Island, where MS-13 gang members have wreaked havoc, highlighted his plan to crack down on gang violence and enforce immigration policies to prevent criminals from illegally entering the United States.

Vowing to “Destroy the Vile Criminal Cartel” MS-13 — “These aren’t people,” Trump emphasized dramatically, “these are animals.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., was quick to respond on Twitter to the president, saying, “When all of our great-great-grandparents came to America they weren’t ‘animals,’ and these people aren’t either.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) ran with the media’s initial narrative and criticized Trump as if he had declared all undocumented immigrants are “animals.”

The Democrat Party has gone so far to the radical left, that common sense has completely left the party that was once a symbol for the blue collar American worker.

Are Democrats and our lying liberal media support illegals, terrorists, and thugs?

The liberal media outlets including C-SPAN, the New York Times, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News and CNN  stepped in “twisting Trump’s words” completely out of context, running stories claiming Trump used the term “animals” to describe illegal immigrants more broadly.

VOX News released a report that twisted Trump’s words to appear as if the president believed all illegal immigrants were “subhuman.”

CNN stepped in claiming Trump’s speech was “emboldening” MS-13, allowing the group to more easily recruit members because, the network said, the president and his policies were instilling fear in illegal immigrants. CNN’s Dan Lieberman even went so far as to interview two gang members who complained “murders from MS-13 don’t only hurt one family, but hurt both.”

The Washington Post columnist Philip Bump released a story with the headline “Trump reminds us that his racial politics haven’t evolved” where he went on to ask is Trump’s graphic depiction of Hispanic immigrants in the United States: Violent, bloodthirsty animals.”

Slate Media’s Jamelle Bouie said Trump’s speeches on MS-13 and illegal immigration used words to “make white people afraid.”

Some outlets (AP) later corrected or clarified their reporting, saying ‘It wasn’t made clear he was speaking’ about MS-13.

Kirstjen Nielsen, Secretary of Homeland Security came to Trumps defense on Friday saying that lawmakers who criticized Trump for using the word “Animals” owed him an apology.

Nielsen told “Fox and Friends”“Here you have elected members of Congress pretending that he’s talking about something entirely different. It’s dangerous, it’s inappropriate and frankly, it’s just unprofessional.”

Nielsen told the Fox panel that President Trump was very clear that he was talking about MS-13, a gang whose motto is rape, control and kill.

“The instances of brutality and violence they commit on communities is well-documented,” Nielsen said. “So, if anyone wants to quibble about whether or not we should call those people animals, perhaps the quibble should be whether we call them something worse.”

She said lawmakers like House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi who criticized Trump owe him an apology, because they’re misstating facts in a very dangerous way.

“The president’s trying to protect Americans. He’s making clear he will not stand for this violence in our communities. And here you have elected members of Congress pretending that he is talking about something entirely different. It’s dangerous. It’s inappropriate. And frankly, it’s just unprofessional.”

Meanwhile, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the president’s comments, arguing the word “Animals” didn’t go far enough.

“This is one of the most vicious and deadly gangs that operates by the motto of, ’Rape, control and kill,’” she said. “If the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they’re more than welcome to. Frankly, I don’t think the term that the president used was strong enough.”

On Wednesday’ at the White House Trump met with mayors, sheriffs and other local leaders from California who oppose the state’s immigration policies and  applauded his administration’s hard-line efforts on immigration and crime.

Last year Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation into Law that bars police officers from asking people about their immigration status or helping federal agents with immigration enforcement.
