U.S. collaborates in research of lost Army weapons

The U.S. Ambassador Mari Carmen Aponte, said his country is supporting the Salvadoran Armed Forces in the investigations in the case of missing weapons of the military institution.

Aponte said the Alcohol Control Agency, American Snuff and Firearms (ATF, for its acronym in English) is collaborating in the investigations.

However, said he would not diplomatic details, because it is an ongoing investigation.
