Pillay said a spokeswoman for the UN Security Council to protect civilians last night: The current lack of transparency regarding their use creates a vacuum in accountability, and affect the ability of victims on a quest to seek redress and compensation.

Pillay expressed deep concern about the human rights implications regarding the protection of civilians from attacks by armed unmanned aircraft that carried out in the context of the fight against terrorism and military operations.
