According to the Bible Society’s leader in Egypt, six churches being burned in the country. The organization’s bookshop in town Asyut should also be set on fire.
Ramez Atallah said the day Wednesday morning that in several mosques had been stated that the Christians wanted to dissolve the protest camps Mursi supporters have established in Cairo. He believes this could be the reason why Wednesday’s protests, among other things went so hard over the Christian landmark building.

– So far, they burned six churches and our bookshop in Asyut, Atallah said the next day at 14 o’clock Wednesday.

Asyut is the Egyptian city with the highest Coptic Christians.
