WASHINGTON. Canadian Embassy in Washington briefly evacuated today after finding the suspect list, but in the subsequent investigations found nothing suspicious.
A spokesman for the U.S. Office for the protection of persons Max Milien confirmed that the letter did not represent any risk. Information about what was in the letter, and who sent him, were not disclosed.
Embassy officers had morning local time more than an hour to leave their offices to return to work at 10.35 h (16.35 h GMT).
Canadian Embassy in Washington, is located on Pennsylvania Avenue, the main thoroughfare leading to the White House, which is located 2.4 kilometers. Street partially closed.
