Egypt Coptic prison for contempt of religions and insult President

An Egyptian court ruled on Tuesday, punishing the teacher Copt to 6 years in prison after being convicted on charges of contempt of religion and insult the Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon him – WSB President Mohamed Morsi, and on a special page on the social networking site Facebook.

The Correctional Court of Sohag in Upper Egypt sentenced 3 years, Bishoy Camille full, English language teacher after being convicted on charges of contempt of religion and insult the Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon him – also ruled jailed two years on charges of insulting the president and another year for insulting Prosecutor civil rights.

The accused can appeal the ruling before the Supreme Court of Appeal degrees, according to the Egyptian justice system.

And imposed a security cordon stressing about the headquarters of the trial for fear of violence, especially with the influx of a large number of supporters of Islamic movements to the courthouse.

The angry protesters tried to undermine the defendant during the first sessions of the trial took place in the city of Tahta, however, security forces succeeded in controlling the situation and secure the deportation.
