On 6 May 1937 went to the “Hindenburg” disaster, the great era of ballooning to an end. The Zeppelin started on a trip to the U.S. during the landing procedure at Lakehurst fire, which filled the air with hydrogen burned body within seconds. The 245 meters long, the largest airship LZ129 was built, until the final flight as a symbol of technological progress and superiority.
