Sepulveda said that monitoring Cantu remains at producing ejidos lemon, orange, grapefruit and tangerine municipalities such as Victoria, Güémez, Padilla, Llera and Hidalgo, which are the main citrus growing regions.

But he added that the preventive measure is extended to municipalities in the north and south of the state, which are citrus-producing regions.

He said the State Plant Health Committee is working with commissioners and groups of smallholders to establish compact zones and provide them with products of control plants, planted in producing citrus orchards.
