Governor Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz today reported that following the violence that killed 44 inmates from the prison in Apodaca, 30 more within the group “Los Zetas” are fled, so offered a bag of 10 million pesos to recapture them.

“Derived from the first investigations we can confirm that in the midst of the fray and disorder caused inside the prison, a group of inmates managed to escape the prison of which 25 are under federal jurisdiction and five common order,” he said.
He stressed that “in principle we have the information that the escaped prisoners belong to” Los Zetas “and that those who lost their lives, inmates who were killed, the Gulf Cartel.”

He said that is removed from office deputy director of that prison, Juan Hernandez Hernandez, Oscar and Deveso Laureano, head of security the same prison, and 18 guards who were on duty.
